Pink room now blue

We've been in the house for nearly three months, which doesn't seem possible, given how little we've achieved, house-wise, in that time.
Had a holiday in between and of course there is work, until Wednesday for me at least, which was my last day before maternity leave.
I have, with the help of a very helpful mum and dad, managed to turn Isaac's girly pink room into a blue Thomas the Tank engine themed room. We haven't gone all out for Thomas, using removable wall stickers for when he is out of that phase. And the rest is two tone blue, on alternate walls, with navy curtains, family heirlooms apparently.
Then yesterday and today I have set about getting rid of the terracotta and blomonge coloured walls in our room. I gave up when it came to the woodchip, after my last experience of trying to remove wallpaper was an outright failure. But anyway it is now more than half done and just awaiting another coat, or two of biscuit (which looks like magnolia).
As for the rest of it, my dreams of getting the house ship shape and done before the baby comes are fast fading as it has taken several weeks just to get builders/ plumbers/ joiners round in the first place to assess the jobs and get back to us with prices.
It's now looking like it'll have to wait until the new year as I really don't want builders etc in when I've a new born.
On that note I am now 35 and a half weeks pregnant so the countdown has begun. I look like someone has shoved a football up by t-shirt, it's round and pointy at the same time and looks rather odd, as people keep telling me. It's also giving me backache, trapped nerves, indigestion and a chronic shortness of breath when I try to do anything other than sit still.
